Darlings Bistro

Really great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Above all the coffee has to be one of the best in Rozelle/Balmain. Food is always really fresh and tasty. I love this place and I frequent it quite often. I have never been disappointed and highly recommended it!

Me and my dad went here and it was lovely. I had eggs and he had smashed avocado and it was DELICIOUS. The staff were so nice and welcoming. We come here every time we come down to Sydney and they always are extremely respectful. We got free homemade almond shortbread and it was incredible. The other desserts looked so good as well. It’s dog friendly and the coffee is amazing. They have fast times for food and drinks, a diverse menu, and very good prices. Thank You Darlings!

Best coffee service in Balmain/Rozelle. Not being from the area I found it hard to find a friendly cafe to go to for my morning coffee and occasional sit in breakfast but I finally found it! The staff are so friendly and remember my coffee order and the food was delicious and generously served. Do yourself a favour and stop in for a coffee or more. Thank you Darlings Bistro

Couldn't ask for anything better for lunch. We chose 2 dishes off the special which were delicious & reasonably priced. The haloumi was the best I had had for a long time. The staff were very personable & keen that we enjoyed our meal. We were so happy we selected this bistro along busy Darling St.

Popped in for an impromptu risotto & it was delightfully light & delicious! Lovely comfortable seats for dining in with a friendly vibe. The prices are very reasonable too. Decor has a Greek theme combined with ‘80’s rock music memorabilia. Thanks ladies!

Update: revisit after almost 2yrs. They are still nice, friendly and professional. Food looks to be still the same. Bacon n egg on milky bun is top notch stuff. New items on menu and the omelette with mushrooms is impressive. Thick omelette with whole mushrooms cut in half and not that stingey thin slices you get at other places. I've been coming here every Sunday for the past few weeks now. I ride (cycling) here with friends for breakfast. Hands down best bacon n egg roll and the coffee is great too. Prices are very reasonable considering its location. I mean you get 2 eggs, a heap of bacon well cooked and the bun is just soft and great. The staff are very friendly as well. This is our go to place from now on.

It is so hard to find a place with decent coffee and excellent service. If I lived in Sydney this would be my number one spot to come. The staff were above exceptional, the good was DIVINE! I don’t review often but this deserved one for everyone to see. The coffee was fantastic and the burger was delicious, the prices are perfect a must come to if you’re in Balmain. The atmosphere was also perfect! I WILL be back next time I’m in Sydney.
